Victorian sapphire and diamond ring from 1898
A fine example of a late Victorian period ring set with three oval faceted sapphires and four old mine cut diamonds.
The ring is hallmarked for the City of Chester and the year 1898.
The three sapphires are about 1.70 carat in total, the four old mine cut diamonds are .40 carat in total, SI1 to SI2 in quality and H in color.
The ring size is 17.00 mm, the size can be modified if necessary.
The sapphires are a strong medium blue color, the ring has attractive period scroll work on the shoulders and is in very good condition with a full set of clear hallmarks.
