





Sapphire and diamond ring from 1903
An Edwardian period 18 carat gold ring with seven old European cut diamonds and two round faceted blue sapphires. The ring is hallmarked for the City of Birmingham and the year 1903.
The diamonds which are set in a mild swirl and are around .20 carat in total, SI1 to SI2 in quality and H in color. The sapphires have a diameter of 3 mm and are around .30 carat in total.
The ring size is 17.00 mm, the size can be modified if necessary.
The shoulders of the ring are decorated with some classical period scroll work. The ring is nicely designed and is generally in good condition with evidence of previos size modifications.
