Victorian sapphire and diamond ring from 1896
A late Victorian period 18 carat gold ring set with two cushion cut sapphires and six old European cut diamonds. The ring is hallmarked for the City of Chester and the year 1898.
The diamonds are about .23 carat in total, SI1 to SI2 in quality and I in color, the sapphires are about .20 carat in total. The ring is decorated with some attractive scroll work to the sides of the settings and the shoulders.
The ring size is 17.00 mm, the size can be modified if necessary.
